Namilia Spring 2025
Emilia Pfohl and Nan Li are known as the designer duo Namilia. They made a big impact at Berlin Fashion Week. Their collection, titled ‘Good Girl Gone Bad,’ was prepared in collaboration with the iconic brand Ed Hardy from the 2000s. The runway was the longest and clubbiest of Berlin Fashion Week, set against the backdrop of “The Tunnel” at Potsdamer Platz subway station with approximately 600 guests. The collection features short mini dresses, flashy faux fur jackets, shiny pink leather-look suits, and provocative messages adorning sexy ball gowns. Printed T-shirts with slogans are paired with lace-embellished long skirts and leather jackets. Nearly 80% of their customers are under the age of 35. Their collections are also recognized for daring gender-neutral clubwear that questions gender inequality, just as much as what celebrities wear. Similarly, as complementary elements, tulle and embroidered lace white gloves, tulle veils, pocket hats, and shopping bags with sleeves hanging.
This runway show, which captures the vibe of the 2000s, brings back the famous culture of that era. Despite the influence of paparazzi and magazine scandals, it still maintains its iconic status. Iconic printed T-shirts are also presented in this fashion show.
Some of the leather looks in this fashion show, especially the dresses, reminded us a little of the dresses in the 2003 Roberto Cavalli fashion show collection. The wild and loose looks were in the leather looks and other looks ,old-school tattoos were in the brackets, American traditional tattoos were in the foreground, and the walks, turns and poses of the models continued the 2000s atmosphere and added personality to the models.
Let’s break down those pink outfits!! In the first look, we see an iconic sleeveless T-shirt with a slogan on a male model. Paired with it are leather-look old-school pants adorned with old-school-type tattoo-like designs. The only accessory? A matching light pink cap! In the second look, we see a very stylish leather jacket and a mini skirt ensemble. Under this combination, there are fabulous black leather combat boots! Each piece in the outfit features old-school tattoo-like embroidery, and the mini skirt is adorned with large designs. The oversized, slightly padded light pink leather jacket pairs wonderfully with the mini skirt’s length, creating a fantastic harmony.The mini skirts were adorned with intricate designs, celebrating the rebellious spirit.
When we look at the black looks, what catches our eye is,in the second look, we see a basic but stone-embellished camisole blouse paired with a transparent, long lace-embellished skirt. The combination creates a stylish ensemble. If you're interested in similar blouses, you can explore options like lace-detailed blouses or stone-embellished tops for a feminine and elegant touch.
Emilia Pfohl and Nan Li, the founders of Namilia, presented 60 looks that embodied their theme: “Good Girl Gone Bad.” The pieces were a riot of color, texture, and attitude. Collaboration with Ed Hardy: Namilia teamed up with the 2000s cult brand Ed Hardy, infusing the collection with nostalgia and rebellious energy. It was a bold move that paid off.
